Description

Our insulated drum jacket is designed to protect your 210 litre steel drum and contents from both cold and hot ambient temperatures with a range tolerance of -35° to +75°C. The inner insulation layer of the jacket will protect the drum from frost, or if storing in sunlight or warm conditions, the outer silver layer will reflect sunlight and keep the inside cool. Made from cross laminate polyethylene the jacket is impervious to bacteria and tear, and is flame and water resistant.

Inner Thermal Layer
Inner is a 280g polyester wadding quilted in outer layers of 140g woven polyethylene quilted with 100mm stitching. Ref: No. BTB280. This has a CLO (warmth) factor equal to 2.00 or the same as the standard BSI 0.407m2.K/W. (9.5TOG). BTB280 = heat loss approx ¼ °C per hour if filled at ambient, after 12 hours increases to ½ °C per hour.
